the first enlisted man and vietnam veteran to lead the pentagon. >>> frustrating commute home from work yesterday. they got stuck and after getting no instructions from metro, they took matters into their own hands. dozens of commuters wound up abandoning their green line trains and walking to their destinations last night. metro's general manager is apologizing properly policing -- apologizing promising some improvements. delia goncalves has more. >> reporter: good morning. it certainly was a big mess and it was a cold night for it. we talked to the manager at starbucks who is kitty corner from the navy yard metro station who says it looked like inauguration all over again with just swarms of people who were outside here at navy yard after the if fiasco happened inside. we'll take a look at some video and some pictures that fecks tweeted out of those massive crowds. panicked passengers pried open metro doors. they hopped on to the tracks and escaped through an emergency exit, this after two green line trains were stuck between navy yard and anacostia. they were stuck in dark opportunit
